Tibbets can be a family room to sleep up to four people, it includes the combination of a King with TEMPUR ASPEN mattress  and single with an additional single bed available on request.

Tibbets is a deluxe sea view room and is a spacious room, with a large bay window and French doors /Juliet balcony that looks directly over Grunta beach.

With exquisite South West facing views of Lundy Island and uninterrupted sea and coastal views with a comfortable seating area.

Important Information

Breakfast

When you book directly, you can pre-book breakfast for £12 per head per night. If you do not pre-book breakfast when you book your stay, it will be charged at £14 per head, per night. 

Children’s Reductions

We offer a reduced rate for children of £30 each under the age of 16.

Dogs

There is a charge for dogs staying with us which is £10 per dog per night.

Group Bookings

We will occasionally accept group bookings. Please ring or email us at Lundy House Hotel to discuss your requirements. We ask for a deposit equivalent to the first night's stay and the remainder 8 weeks before arrival. Deposits are non-refundable.

The responsibility of the booking lies solely with the main party. We do not accept single-sex group bookings.

Minimum stay 

Please note that most of our rooms have a minimum night stay of two or three nights. We may, occasionally offer one-night stays, they will however be subject to a single-night supplement charge depending on the room. Please contact us for more information.

Accessibility

Lundy House is situated on a steep hill, and we do not have a lift. The bedrooms are situated on the first and second floors. The hotel is therefore not suitable for people who find climbing stairs difficult. 

The car park is at the rear of the hotel.

Mortehoe is approximately 10 minute (steep) walk away.
Woolacombe is approximately 15 minute walk away.

Parking

Lundy House Hotel is an old Georgian property, we only have enough space in our car park for one car per room. Please be thoughtful about the environment when you drive to lovely Devon and bring only one car with you.

Cancellation Policy

When you have made your booking and we have received the required deposit to secure the booking, a legally binding contract exists between us that is non-cancellable and non-refundable. You will still be liable to pay in full or in part for the booking, even if you are unable to take your holiday. Even where you have not paid in full at the time of cancellation, you will remain liable for the full cost.

If for some reason you do need to cancel, it is important that you tell us at the first opportunity so that we may attempt to re-let your room and minimise your loss. You should take out cancellation insurance to protect you against possible loss.

Rooms

We like to to consider the environment, please note that our rooms do not have air conditioning units, all rooms have large windows that can be opened to air out the room.
