The Rattles is perfect for a family or friends getaway, sleeping up to 5 people. The property boasts amazing views and is very well equipped so you can make yourself at home and relax, unwind and take time out to enjoy the local area.

Breath-taking panoramic sea views welcome you to the property. Nestled away in the garden you will have private access to your holiday home and a private section of the garden to enjoy.

On the ground floor, there is a king-size bedroom with ocean views. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and on the mezzanine, a futon is set up, complete with skylight windows to watch the stars or look at the ocean.

A generously sized open-plan lounge features large sliding doors across the front of the building, which open onto your private balcony with uninterrupted sea views across to Lundy Island and Morte Point. At the end of the balcony is an al fresco dining area with an outdoor dining table, making it the perfect space to have dinner or enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the sun go down.

Nearby Woolacombe Beach is an award-winning blue flag beach which is renowned for being a top holiday destination which is safe to swim at and very popular with surfers.

The self-contained apartment is situated directly above Grunta beach, a beautiful quiet beach with huge rock pools. The beaches of Barricane and Combesgate and the main beach of Woolacombe are only 10/15 minutes walk.

There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the property so allow yourself lots of time to relax and enjoy the local area. The building is located on a quiet hill and set back from the main village, so you can ensure your stay will be tranquil and relaxing. There is a free parking space available for one vehicle meaning you can leave the car and enjoy the area on foot if you prefer.

Important Information

Please note we do not accept single-sex parties.

Although there is only one parking place, there is ample parking for any additional cars in Mortehoe village (10-minute walking time).

The Rattles comes with a private garden. We cannot guarantee that the garden is fully secure. If you are bringing your dog with you, please monitor them at all times.
