Montagu Steps is a 3-bedroom self-catering apartment that comprises a combination of a King room, sea view double room and twin room.

This south facing apartment looks over the sea with a panoramic view of Woolacombe and its award-winning beach. You can also see Grunta beach, with Lundy Island directly in front and the beautiful National Trust Morte Point to the right.

In the late afternoons and early evenings, you will be able to enjoy unparalleled views. You will be able to soak in the magnificent views on the balcony then retire to the comfortable living room in the evening.

Each room is decorated in a modern way. The lounge area is very comfortable with large patio doors, where you can step out on to a decked patio and enjoy the wonderful South West coastal views and breath-taking sunsets. This area offers the perfect place to relax and unwind and enjoy alfresco dinning.

The luxury modern bathroom features both a walk-in shower and spacious corner bath. Towels, and linen are all provided.

The self-contained apartment is suitable for up to 6 guests. The main bedroom is a King, the second bedroom is a sea view with breath taking views across the bay through large patio doors, while the third bedroom is a twin.

There is also an open plan kitchen dinner/lounge. The kitchen is fitted with all modern appliances, and has large table/chairs which you can use to sit out over the bay through sliding doors. The self-contained apartment has full use of the hotel's terraced garden, and also has a private decked area.

The self-contained apartment itself is situated directly above Grunta beach, which is a beautiful quiet beach with huge rock pools. The beaches of Barricane and Combesgate and the main beach of Woolacombe is only 10/15 minutes walk.

Important Information

Please note we do not accept single-sex parties.

Due to the location of the self catered apartment and the numerous stairs, Montagu Steps is not suitable for those with mobility problems.

Although there is only one parking place, there is ample parking for any additional cars in Mortehoe village (10-minute walking time).

Guests are welcome to share the facilities of the hotel where they can book themselves for breakfast.
